Unspoken Conversations are the topics that are often swept under the carpet, whispered amongst the closest of friends and bitched about by many. I want to create awareness about difficult things that people face in life; grief, mental health, money, illnesses, family troubles, relationship difficulties and putting yourself first. I want to tell the truth about things that really matter.

R U OK?

If you had of asked me 3 years ago if I was okay, you probably would've seen a grown woman curl up in a ball and sob uncontrollably about just how horrible she was feeling, and that she couldn't see a light at the end of the very dark and enclosing tunnel.

3 years on, I received a text message from my best friend this morning asking me that very same question, and quite happily, I could reply that I life was gooooooooooooooooood.

What a difference 3 years can make!

The point?

It's just so important to ask someone if they are okay; for you may never predict the reaction that you may be greeted with.

Those tiny 3 words could be what is needed to let someone finally open up to how they are truly feeling.

So when was the last time that you asked someone if they were okay and truly listened?

What better day to ask then today, on the day of national R U OK day?

Take the time out of your busy schedule to phone someone and ask how they are doing.

Look after yourself and those around you,
